Lina item set update: Low poly bakes done!

Well I finally got around to doing the retopo and bakes today. It was interesting trying to figure out the best way to do the head band as I wasn't sure I would have the tri's to pull it off. But I was able to put most of the charms on planes to hang off her head. Which looks much better than flattening them onto her headband.

I also discovered I had a few hundred polys spare on the neck, which I gladly took and made her up a nice matching necklace of charms.

Here is a shot of the set in the max veiwport using the low poly and basic diffuse (bent normal green channel and the AO) and the normal map. I'm using Xoliuls shader 2.0 to get it looking shiny and nice :D


Tomorrow I'll bake out her gradient map and point light map then start slapping some base colours down.

I will try to remember to stream my process. I've been a bit slack lately on that. :<
